For TUSAŞ’s 2025 Sustainability Report, we brought together sustainability reporting consulting and report design within an integrated process.
At Sustable, our focus went beyond bringing sustainability information together in a single report. We structured TUSAŞ’s extensive sustainability performance to strengthen the connections between strategy, priorities, actions and performance while making complex information easier to navigate.
By combining reporting expertise with information architecture and visual communication, we transformed extensive sustainability information into a clear, standards-aligned and coherent corporate narrative.
Our sustainability reporting consulting approach focused on making the relationship between TUSAŞ’s sustainability priorities, practices and performance more visible.
We brought together a broad range of topics—including technology and innovation, sustainable supply chain, employees, occupational health and safety, environmental impact, energy, water, waste and biodiversity—within a unified information architecture.
Material topics were assessed based on their significance to TUSAŞ and its stakeholders and incorporated into the reporting structure through a materiality perspective.
This enabled us to move beyond presenting individual sustainability topics and establish a consistent narrative connecting strategy, implementation and performance.
Technical reporting requirements should strengthen a sustainability report, not interrupt its narrative. We therefore integrated GRI Standards alignment into the overall reporting architecture.
Relevant GRI disclosures were connected with corresponding content throughout the report, while the GRI Content Index provided a clear and traceable relationship between reporting requirements and disclosures.
This approach strengthened both the technical integrity and accessibility of the report, enabling readers to navigate comprehensive sustainability information while maintaining a clear connection with the relevant reporting standards.
We approached sustainability report design not as a final visual layer, but as an integral part of how information is structured, understood and communicated.
Performance indicators, tables, materiality information and different layers of sustainability content were organised within a consistent editorial system.
Through information hierarchy, data visualization, charts and tables, we made extensive technical information easier to navigate and enabled key performance indicators and insights to stand out more clearly.
By bringing corporate storytelling, information architecture and editorial design together, we established a consistent relationship between content and visual communication throughout the report.
One of the defining aspects of our approach was managing reporting consulting and report design as interconnected parts of the same process.
Rather than completing the sustainability reporting process first and addressing design afterwards, we considered from the outset how information would be structured, prioritised and communicated to the reader.
