Türkiye Sigorta 2024 Integrated Annual Report

Discover how Sustable brought Türkiye Sigorta’s financial and sustainability performance together through integrated reporting advisory, information architecture and report design.

Bringing financial and sustainability performance into one integrated value creation narrative

For Türkiye Sigorta’s 2024 Integrated Annual Report, we brought together integrated reporting advisory and report design within a single, connected process.

At Sustable, our focus went beyond presenting financial and sustainability performance in the same report. We connected Türkiye Sigorta’s strategy, business model, sustainability priorities, capital elements and performance to build a clearer picture of how the company creates and sustains long-term value.

By bringing information previously addressed across annual and sustainability reporting into a six-capital structure, we developed an integrated reporting architecture that makes the relationships between resources, activities, performance and value creation more visible.

Putting integrated thinking at the heart of the report

Our integrated reporting advisory approach was built around a fundamental question: How does Türkiye Sigorta create value?

We brought financial, manufactured, natural, intellectual, human, and social and relationship capital together within a common narrative connecting inputs, business activities, outputs and outcomes.

This strengthened the relationship between financial and non-financial performance and Türkiye Sigorta’s business model. Rather than presenting extensive corporate information as separate disclosures, we structured it to demonstrate how different resources and activities contribute to long-term value creation.

Bringing integrated reporting frameworks into a unified structure

We treated reporting frameworks as elements that strengthen the report’s information architecture rather than as separate technical layers.

The report was structured in alignment with the IIRC Integrated Reporting Framework, Borsa İstanbul Integrated Reporting Guide and GRI Standards, while Türkiye Sigorta’s contributions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals were connected with relevant performance areas.

By bringing these frameworks together within a consistent reporting structure, we maintained the balance between technical alignment, readability and corporate storytelling.

Connecting materiality with strategy and stakeholder expectations

We positioned Türkiye Sigorta’s sustainability priorities within the broader context of corporate strategy, sector developments and stakeholder expectations.

The materiality process incorporated perspectives from a broad stakeholder ecosystem, including employees, customers, distribution channels, suppliers, investors, civil society and academia. The findings were considered alongside sectoral and global risks and Türkiye Sigorta’s strategic priorities.

This enabled sustainability priorities to become part of the company’s strategy and long-term value creation narrative, rather than remaining standalone sustainability disclosures.

Making report design part of the information architecture

We approached integrated report design not as a visual layer applied after the reporting process, but as an integral part of how complex corporate information is structured, understood and navigated.

The value creation model, six capitals, sustainability priorities, targets, and financial and non-financial performance indicators were brought together within a consistent editorial system.

Through information hierarchy, data visualization, charts and tables, we made extensive content easier to navigate and strengthened the connections between different areas of performance.

By treating reporting advisory and design as a connected process, we created a reporting experience in which content, information architecture and visual communication work together.

An internationally recognized integrated reporting experience

The reports developed through our reporting advisory and report design approach received significant international recognition at the 2024 LACP Vision Awards.
